Dog racing . What is the
big deal ? Greyhound racing is BAD .Tens of thousands of dogs are killed each
year .Only about half of the dogs born each year reach training and naming age
. Thousands of canines are killed routinely.
These dogs spend most of their time confined in a small kennel that is
too small and for what ? What is the point ?It is cruelty which should make it
the same as dog fighting should it not ? In some countries it is banned which
is good . Injuries and sickness takes the lives of many dogs . On average a
greyhound used for racing dies every three days . If we do not eat dogs why do
we fight and race them it is all equally as cruel ? Some of the insane things
that happen out on the track are : heatstroke, broken legs ,broken necks ,
heart attacks ,and I am sure dehydration , and this is not all . So clearly
greyhounds or any dogs or animals for that matter should not be raced that
includes horses ! There are many greyhound adoption place where you can help
stop this cruelty . Greyhounds as pets [GAP ] is a New Zealand greyhound charity

] . Greyhounds as pets of America is another rescue site in America . And there
are many more around the world I am sure ,so please if you are thinking of
buying a dog do look into rescued greyhounds or other rescued dogs [preferably
